This summer the Madeline Island Music Camp celebrates its 25th Season with a very special concert conducted by Osmo Vänskä, Minnesota Orchestra and featuring Jorja Fleezanis, Pacifica String Quartet, Prairie Winds Quartet, Evelina Chao, Camp alumni and 2010 students. Concert Details

Tickets: Free outdoors; $35 tent seats
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a free live broadcast on the grounds of Woods manor or attend the concert in a climate-controlled tent. Admission is free outdoors and $35 for general admission in a designated section of the tent.

Tickets will be mailed through July 1 or may be picked up at the Mary Lange Center, 654 Mondamin Trail, after July 5. Outdoor and $35 tent seats are available on a first-come, first-seated basis. We recommend that you arrive early for the best seats and arrive on the island no later than 4pm.
There is no parking at the concert site and limited parking on the island. We highly recommend leaving your car on the mainland and walking or catching a shuttle to the event. Free shuttles to the concert will run every 20 minutes.

Food, Events and Activities
The grounds of Woods Manor will open at 3:00 pm. Vendors on site will include Award Winning Chinese by Rainbow Chinese, water available for sale to benefit Madeline Island Ambulance Service and La Pointe Fire Department, local art from Woods Hall Craft Shop, Bell Street Gallery, and the Art Guild of Madeline Island, featuring musical art from the camp’s 25 years, and more!
Special Bagged Meals will be available on the island
Come early and make a day of it!

Can’t make it to the concert?
The Concert will be recorded for possible future broadcast on Minnesota Public Radio.
We are proud to offer a rich and rigorous program of chamber music study, drawing esteemed faculty and talented students from all over the country to work together in a complete, architecturally-designed complex of residential, rehearsal and performance spaces. We thank special guests Maestro Osmo Vänskä and former Minnesota Orchestra concertmaster Jorja Fleezanis, who will lead the festivities marking this joyous occasion.
